Thanks
the guy i sold my 452's to will cringe but i dont recommend that Falken, some guys love the Falken Ziex . I just bought some michelin pilot from discount, thats the tire that the GM development guy who did tires on cobalts in 05/06 said was the best ( he aint there no more so he can talk to me lol)
i think the $110 or so Dunlop Direzza 101 not the Star , well , Dunlop offers the best value for the buck, with a curb protector sidewall which i think is big.

Discount dont sell them but the other great value in tires is from Tire Rack, the Avon 500 (or is it 550?) for around the same money....good luck

the yokohamas.. def... I love the s. drive's. I am getting some parada spec 2's next week for my summer/show season tire.

I sell tires all the time, im a service advisor =)

I like falken's ok but to me they are just a quality economy tire, and i have seen them burn thru pretty quick.
The pirelli p zero nero ms are quite a good tire.. very good but I just hate the tread. They are so boring and ugly! We have them on my fiance's stang and they are lasting well but like I said; ugliest tire ever!!

I was looking for a good while at my tire options (04 redline 225/45/17) and I had pretty much decided on the S. Drives as well but then I saw a comparison test of the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrics (I wanted the F1 GS-D3's but they are discontinued....great close out deal if your interested pm, im not selling them). They bested the Michelin PS2's which tirerack has listed as the best tire in the category. PS2's are like 180 apiece and the F1 asymmetrics are like $150 each shipped from tirerack. Take a look at those since they are in a general price range of the S. drives. I'm ordering my Asym's today!!!!
