Those hotswaps look alright but a ton of people have them and if I remember correctly they are heavy as all hell. New rims on a performance car of any sort should not be heavier than stock, it just doesn't make sense to add unsprung weight to your car.

17x7 weigh 28 lbs which is 4 lbs more than stock. 18s probably weigh more around 30+ lbs, either way, they look pretty decent on your ride.

I don't think "everyone" has those wheels......in fact, I rarely see them, even on this site.

Not to sound mean, but Hotswaps on a Cobalt is nothing new. Also, 17"s look kinda small to me. I have 19"s on my lowered SS, and I still think its lacking.

I'm going to autoX the 2008 SS TC.

I need a set of stock leagal wheels, they must be 37-42 MM offset (42 is best)
I've tried a few and none of them can get past the Brembo brake calipers!

Any suggestions?
