New/Old Wheels...

I had been tossing around the idea of ditching the MSR 045's that were on my car. The finish on them was terrible and dull and I couldn't even wash them to look good. So after tossing around the idea of buying new wheels, I decided that getting them PC'd instead. I love the look of the MSR's even tho they are overplayed. I went to CPC Powdercoating in Crest Hill, IL, about 20 min from my house. They charged $240 OTD with any color you could possibly want. I decided to go with a Black Pearl Metallic, here are some pictures, I will have more after I get them mounted with the fresh rubber...

Thanks bro! And ur the reason I knew about them!

Lifetime warranty and $240 OTD, you can't go wrong. And 1 week turnaround was pretty nice too!

On there right now are Potenza Pole Postions. They are a great tire. I have heard good things about the re-11's. I just bought a set of g-force sport comp 2's. Supposed to be a great summer tire with good amount of grip. They tested them on STI's, Evo's, Vette's and they preformed pretty high so I decided to give them a shot!

Hmm that's way cheaper than I've been quoted for pcing. Sucks I don't have an extra set of rims. I wonder what kinda price I could get if they had to mount and remount.

They look great btw.

Where did you go to for the work? Was it CPC in Crest Hill? I called about 6-8 months ago and they told me $240. I figured that it would have went up, but when I called it was still $240. And I know Adam (riceburner) got his done over a year ago and it was $240

Holy ****! Yea I called a few places and was quoted about 80-90 on average. Called this place and thought the price was too good to be true. Went there and seen how nice the place was and decided they were getting my business. Looked at over 2k colors they offer for no additional change to the 240 and picked what I did. Couldn't be happier. I just got them mounted today and snapped some pictures, will get them up soon!

Yup very close, what are your wheels? Mine originally had a chrome lip, but the owner before me didn't take care of them and they started to pit. So I painted them, then had them PC'd

Iunno maybe its just me. Black wheels look OK when car is parked. On the road and driving they look like steelies. Just me or others may agree?
