Talking new rims, new tires

well i dont think i have posyed this on css yet, but i ordered a new set of rims last fiday, should be arriving via UPS sometime today, just bought the tires for them...

got:
bridgestone potenzas re-01r
205/45/17
treadwear: 180

read a lot of good reviews on these tires, tirerack puts them in the extreme summer tire class...hell with a tread wear rating of 180 i dont blame them :p
the rims i got are evoke f4's:

will post actual pics once they show up

Those rims could look pretty nice. Sub'd for pics when you get them mounted and installed.

I would have gone a bit bigger on the tires. Those are going to leave a LARGE wheel gap. 215/50/17's would have been a better choice. 225/45/17's would have been a better option if you wanted to stick to a 45 profile tire. How wide are those wheels?

it was between these or BFG g-force 225/50/17, but being these are a real performance tire vs the bfg model..i went with these, but yes ideally if i could of gotten the 225/50's i would of..the rim is 7"

225/50/17's would have been on the big side.

I don't want 18's...rotors would look so tiny behind them. The 17's r a decent size and the f4 only comes in 17
