subzero or sdx 17x7.5/17x8 black.

 

I think even 8.5 is a little wide. when I mocked up some 17x8.5 wheels there wasn't much room for tires or turning. I think a safe bet is 17x 8. really on a street wheel and tire we dont need any more than that.

I have a buddy that runs one of those style of Rota wheels on his Scooby and he loves 'em... I race, so I want light and cheap. If they're gonna crack in 3 weeks, I'll pass, but his set has been on two different cars, and he races autox and road courses like 10-20 times per year, and these rims are going on year 3.

 

I'm all about the subzeros though and I think we have enough people that want them.

17X8 subzeros in gunmetal.

 

I'm really liking those subzeros in black. I can put a few things on hold to get some rims too. I've got 3 damn sets of tires and 1 set of stock rims.

So we're talking 17x8, 5x110, 16lbs? Stock offset?

so who is the person actually talking to the company??? we should be able to get different finishes in the same wheel and i'm pretty sure we can get more than 5 people interested in buying wheels if they cut some the ones everyone wants I doubt they're going to turn down 10 people wanting wheels.

if e-dubs aggrees to subzero in gunmetal then yes we do. Or if someone else wants to step up to the plate?

 

17x8's are 17-18lbs in the Subzero. The new SDX are 17lbs for a 17x7.5. Let me know if you want in! Gunmetal seems to be the choice of color if your willing to sway slightly on the color.

We all have to agree on the same color to place the order. All five or more sets have to be identical for the order. There are no exceptions! Black or Gunmetal doesn't matter to me because both will look great on my car. We have enough wheels to place the order, but not enough to agree on the same color. Let me know what's happening so we can keep this ball rolling! I want wheels badly this time, and I will not accept failure!

ok I'm pretty sure shortbus said he was for gun metal previously are you still? if so that just leaves spooner to say gunmetal is cool. it's a really dark gunmetal if you look at the pics and will look beautiful with every color balt.

Good luck with Motegi. They didn't want anything to do with a custom order for our bolt pattern. Trust me, I checked out them and Tenzo-R as well.

Does anyone think we could stuff a 245/45/17 tire on a 17x8 wheel under our arches and still be able to rock Sportlines or coilovers? I'm looking at the Azeniz RT-615.

 

235s are going ot be your max im thining if you are going to drop the car.
And if you want to run a 245 I think your going to need atleast an 8.5" wide rim for proper fitment depending on the tires you want to use.
