Honestly I would stay away from both of those. IDK if you're on a budget or not, but 10-20 $ more will get you a lot better tire. The Nexens are decent for the price, but you could be a lot happier with something else.

Get these tires and you won't be disapointed.

I have the N7000's on mine (in the summer anyway) and they definitly do the job. Sure there are better tires like the BFG KDW2's but they're also double the money. I have no complaints from the N7000's at all.

another person here that recomends against nexens. they dont work that great in any conditions, they are noisy. the tread is best for dry weather, in the rain they really suck.

if you absolutly cant afford something a little better, go with the n7000, they are the "best" tire nexen makes, wich is pretty sad

i have the nexen n3000's, theyre alot better than the khumo ecsta 711's in the rain and they slide very predictably in the dry(i like sliding). they are starting to be on the noisy side but i usually have the radio up so that's irrelevant, seem to be wearing well no complaints here

idk bout the 5000 and 7000 but i have the 3000 and they suck ass and i wouldnt recomend any nexen tire cuz if it... like everyone else said they suck it wet conditions they're loud and they aint very good for traction either on dry road.. i have a 2.2 auto and can still burn em down takin off and i really dont think i should be able to do that with no more power than what my car has and them bein z rated tires.. get some bfg's...
