Nice Wheel Option for 2.2's (READ ME OMG $99 FORGED 19"s!!!! -Erod)

I was looking at another Cobalt forum, and one of its members recently bought these rims from Tirerack.. They are lightweight 19's, which are closeouts for $99 for each wheel.. I would jump on this deal, but I'm low on funds. So, I'm posting on here for those looking for some cheap, nice looking wheels.

Size Selected: 19x7.5
Orig. Price: $499 (each)
$99 Closeout

Estimated Availability: In Stock
Recommended Tire Size: 215/35-19
Wheel Offset: +42mm
** Lightweight: 19.9 lbs. **

I'm editing your post title man. I was about to post these, a friend got tires yesterday from me for them. This isn't just a decent deal this is a UNBELIEVABLE deal. One of my local dealers is going to get a set for stock, if he does I'm going to buy a set to re sell as well. These are normally $249 each I believe, maybe they were $499 the second that came out, they are FORGED, and this has to be at or under their cost. If you have a 4 lug Cobalt jump on these NOW NOW NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do you think this wheel could be a everyday driving wheel with a 225/35/19 tire in new york?

since it's forged is it stronger?

You know what? i actually took the time to log on via my Sidekick because I thought this was such a dumb comment. So a 2.2 owner can't put 19"s on their car or they look stupid? Please enlighten me as to why that is.

It is just a stock picture.

No they will never ever sell 5- lug anything in a 19" for that price.

it's just an opinion. i've seen 19's on a 2.2, and i think it looks absolutely rediculous. i think it looks like a monster truck with anything bigger than 17's unless you have a nice drop and a body kit. if you have both, you can get away with it. if you don't, i THINK it looks very bad.

again, this is just my opinion.

yea, that's all i was trying to say... even with just a lower, i think you need a body kit to pull it off...

wow, so i can't have an opinion without getting a bad rep huh? some people really need a life.

Hey guys, I just signed up and was looking around and came across this thread. I think I am the one from the other board that posted up about getting these wheels; so for all of the haters feel free to flame away, but I like them, and that is all that counts in my book.

I have to agree they look silly without lowering; but with some SSC springs it comes together, At least in the eyes of an old fart!! I still need to get better pics; I plan on doing that once I get around to giving it a bath!

They look better in person; trust me. I will get better pics up in due time, I think the pics I posted above exaggerates the size of the wheels because of the angle and distance of the pics. They don't look as large in person as they do in those pics, here is another pic.
