The KDW2 is one of the best deals out there for every day performance on the street, they hook great and give almost track tire performance with street tire life. If you have the money, the Pilot Sports are a fantastic tire and have almost no downsides other than the cost and marginal treadwear, but you aren't going to find a much better tire without going to an R compound track tire. Try a Nitto NT-01 for a good streetable race tire, they hold up better than the 555R DRs and are much stickier than the 555 street tires, while giving better handling than both.
Both cheap, junky tires, but they work just fine for what they are. You get what you pay for, don't expect supercar performance from budget tires.

Nittos are ok if you aren't making any power....in all honesty
When you start making some power, you're going to need big boy dancing shoes....not the trainers. IE MT ET Streets

Also, if people are getting 25K miles out of stockers, they don't need real agressive tires. I cooked my stockers in 11K miles, KDWs lasted me about 20K. I drive hard

Most people on here wouldn't even know what to do with real tires. They are better off not breaking **** and using regular tires, a little wheelspin is safer on everything unless you are set up correctly, and most people aren't.
