FM radio sucks and shorty antenna's are too expensive.
Step #1: Remove eyesore factory antenna.
Step #2: Cover exposed threads on antenna base with a rubber vacuum hose cap. I got one for FREE
at a Crappy Tire store.

The ones I've seen are $75. I don't listen to FM radio, so why would I spend $25-$75 on an eyesore I don't need?

P.S. My sound system is worth ~200X what your shorty antenna is worth, so I don't think I'm a "cheapskate".
