Pirelli M&S vs. Rosso

I'm in dire need of new tires and I'd like the cheaper M&S ones but wonder how they compare to the stock rossos...like street drivability and track performance. Anyone have the M&S tires to compare them to stock rossos?

No, but I can tell you that the M+S will be harder to launch and have less grip. On the plus side, they are cheaper and should last much longer.

well, that... AND the mud and snow rating.. in virginia, i'd think that would be in thier favor. but i think you can find other ultra high perf tires in the rosso's class for a lot less coin

I have the M&S on right now with the stage 2 and K&N drop in. Less grip than the Rossos when you're DRIVING. But they are $150 tires. You get what you pay for! I chirp the tires every time I shift from 1st to 2nd over 4K. Even after the rotation I did the beginning of this month. You lose a little cornering ability also. I plan on keeping these until I can square a sweet deal on the 19" AT Italia Nidos and some Rosso rubber.

made my mind up on the M&S tires...now where to find them the cheapest? I only know of discount tire direct and tire rack. Any other places specifically cheaper that I don't know of?

Well I finally got the pirellis in and got em mounted on the car. When I got home though they look a tad ballooned out and I checked the pressures and its 45 psi...is that right? I was thinking more along the lines of 30 psi is right.
