Quick question
Quick question
I'm getting my wheels repowdercoated tomorrow(since they were never sandblasted to bare metal before) and after talking to someone today they told me it wouldn't be a good idea because since they are forged it could compromise the material and they could break. Is this something I should worry about, and should I not get them fixed? I've looked online for the answer, but no one seems to have a straight one.
I'm gonna talk to the guy at the shop tomorrow and see what he says...Chris I'm not sure if our wheels are made of the same material or not, not sure if that will make a difference.
It is forged at thousands of degrees.
Powder coating only get up to about 400 degrees max IIRC.
Wheels get hot.

Cuz he was saying it all depends on what temperature they were forged at and blah blah blah. I just wanted to make sure before I get them re-done.
