I'll be purchasing tires soon for my 08 because my Conti's are on their way out. I don't want a seperate rim/tire setup for the winter and one for the summer. I realize you can't have the best of both worlds so that's why i'm in the market for All Seasons.

I prefer either 235/40/18 or 245/40/18. The stock size is 25.1" tall, the 235/40 is 25.4 and the 245/40 is 25.7. Some say 245's rub and some don't so I may settle for 235's. The search button hasn't really helped me.

Keep in mind that if you have separate winter and summer tires, each set will only be used for half of the year and will last a long time. If you get all-seasons, you will have shitty traction ALL YEAR. I will never use all-seasons again after having used dedicated UHP summer tires and snow tires for the last 3 years.

The thing is my stock tires or summer tires won't even move in a half inch of snow. With the power of the car they are no good regardless of the season. What good is a summer tire if it spins regardless of the season? I'd rather run an all season and if I want to head to the track i'll buy seperate rims w/drag radials.

I have these on my Cobalt, and drove with them on dry & wet roads they were fu**ing awsome, the car stuck to the road like it was on rails. Even in heavy rain. Also got to drive with them with snow 4 inches deep and they were great I was able to climb hills others were getting stuck on or could not get up, I was very impressed how they handeled in the snow. Later the snow was rained away, but I'm not worried at all if it snows again

I run the Cooper Zeon Sport A/S they do an excellent job in all conditions. This is my second winter on them.

I'm on my 2nd set of Kumho ASX tires. They have done great in the snow and not too shaby in the dry....
Inexpensive as well.

Conti. DWS!!! I love them! Really good in 4" of snow and on ice. They also have a 50,000 mile waranty and rated at 186mph. Best all-seasons for $130 a peice. IMO

if you have summer tires, ie. uhp or something similar if the temp goes below 50 degrees they dont work with a ****. Id say have summer only and then all season or winter tires, doesnt matter how much snow its the temp that matters most.

If you just want a decent tire for grip etc. get the KDW2 awesome grip, last a long time too and works hella good in rain. Even works on the autox.

Get tires for winter and tires for summer....you have an SS not a 2.2
