rims

so i just painted my rims black and they look great. the only problem is that they r not as shiny as i would hope them to be. ive seen alot of guys on here with rims like mine but no real shiny ones. does anybody know a good way to get painted rims real shiny?

USe clearcoat on it.

i put four coats on. should i just keep putting more and more on?

yea its not like theyre not shiny, i just want them more shiny. any ideas

by the look of it you used a cheaper clear...i always use a dupli color clear its the best

you should have used metalic black with clear coat. that would look sexy

im painting my calipers red tomorrow so maybe ill pick some stuff up and see what i can do

If you are using rattle cans, then you aren't going to get a really good shine unless you pack on the clear and color sand and buff them. If you want deep, shiny black, take your wheels to a painter and have him hook them up.
