Rotor questions
Drilled crack. Dimped is partially drilled, not all the way through. These sell very well, great customer feed back on them also.
Check out www.TurboTechRacing.com the EBC setup is sweet.

Blank rotors with an excellent pad. Proven time and time again on numerous apps. Save the $.
Dezod Motorsports. Brake Upgrades
Slotted are good IF initial bite needs to be stepped up hard. Otherwise, I am a firm believer in blanks with a good pad.
Not fan of the faux drill or drilled. Faux drill offers less braking surface area. Only there for looks. Drilled has the probability of cracking. Need I say more?

yea this thread is gonna go so many directions. everyone has a different opinion so good luck in developing your own. i hear drilled and slotted might perform the best bust don't last, warp too quick and eat pads.
blank will last the longest and for a street car, is honestly all thats needed. regaurdless i wanted to look cool so i got slotted r1 concepts rotors with hawk pads. works good s far, 3 months in.

blank or slotted, high quality. EBC does not stand for "high quality"
Dezod is right.
PFC do a high quality dimpled, but dont make Cobalt rotors
drilled?

pfc quality dimpled its a floating rotor on Powell Race Shop floating hats for LSJ, A Grand AM Cobalt racing set.

slotted Powell Race Shop LNF floating rotors

Drilled and/or slotted rotors add some resistance to the boundary layer of gasses that can build up between the pad and rotor under heavy braking to reduce "fade", but as illustrated above the drilled rotors are prone to cracking between the holes so durability can be a big issue if you do more than daily driving with the car. The dimples are intended to simulate a fully drilled hole (assuming some of the brake dust stays in the dimple), but do little to help pedal fade.
