I have one rim from an SS/NA that was shipped to me recently with cardboard covering the front of the rim, which ended up scratching/scuffing the shiny surface of the rim in a few spots. What is the best way to remove such markings without resorting to the expensive way out by taking it to a professional rim repair shop? I've tried some polishing cream but it didn't do a lot to the marks.
