if you wanted a ss/sc you shoulda bought one. the wing and wheels just don't work imo. g5 gt wheels are as nice if not nicer than the ss/sc wheels.

for some reason it looks awkward to me. but it might just be cuz it's a little high, get a drop and it'll look hot. i would say don't steal from the ss but people have put pontiac wheels on an ss and it looks great, so overall car looks great but definately get a drop.

 

well to me a pontiac was the better buy at the time and i was looking for a ss/sc when i bought my car. and your entitled to your opinion so i respect that. i mean i was searching everywhere for a cobalt but i found my car (2008 w/ 7k miles for 13,100) so there was no way in hell i was going to pass that up when ss/sc's were going for like 16 w/ 30k+ miles. (at least here in houston)

and ya maybe it is the cobalt stuff but i still consider ym car to be 'different' than other G5's. i mean how many other 5's have the SS wheels? and once i get some red added to those wheels like the red lip and possibly put some red on the edges of the spokes (hard to explain where exactly) i think it'll be really sweet!

well the thing is i'm going to have a black and red theme going throughout the car. like everything. i eventually plan on getting red/black seats, possibly the ss seats and than recovering the part where the SS is and doing like G5 on the passenger seat and GT on the drivers seat liek on top of a pontiac emblem (it's kinda like cherrygt did his back dash)

I would like it a lot more if it wasn't sitting at rally height, sitting high like that throws the whole look off.

 

I always find it funny when people say, "the SS wheels and wing don't work at all for the GT and don't match the car". Well considering it's nearly identical to the SC in terms of looks, not sure how'd you come to that conclusion? Having said that, I personally would not do this because to me the point of buying a G5 is to be different from the Cobalt and you're negating that if you buy SS wheels and pick up the wing. I think G6 wheels would have been sexier, hell the stock GT wheels are nicer looking than SC wheels IMO.

 

ya i did like the GT wheels, but i wanted bigger. i wish they came in 18's

 

Looks good. Personally like the GT rims better but you could say im biased. Looks like you left the chevy centre caps in...pop the Pontiac ones in then it will "match" more.
