steering wheel shake
I put 18x7.5 wheels on my car with 225-40-18 tires. When I first got them the car shook horribly so I got hub centric rings, fixxed most of the vibration in the steering wheel. But at around 55 to about 62mph I get a horrible steering wheel shake. I got the tires rebalenced thinking I might have lost a weight, still shakes. So I then tried alignment, still shakes. Anyone have any other ideas?

No I am not braking, its while driving. I don't know any tire shop in my area with that kind of machine, Carrol's Tire Warehouse didn't have one, and my usual small town tire shop I go to doesn't have one either.

The dealer that sold the tires was Carrol's Tire Warehouse, and they don't have this machine. Unless by dealer you mean something else, if not the dealer I purchased the tires from do not have the machine for the force balance and I can't find one that does. Only other tire shop in my town is Tire Order House and I wasn't able to make it there before they closed.

I had the same exact problem when I bought my rims for the old cobalt.
I got them rebalanced and the problem was still going on.
Good thing I sold the car, but my only guess would be that the tires are bad or maybe one of the weights fell off.
