Stock tire life ?

hey guys,
question about the stock rubber on the SS/SC 18's

how long did your last ? weather it be in months, kms, miles ?
i noticed the treadware on them is only 200 which is rather low.
how long should i expect to get out of them before i start shopping for new ones ?

thanks

Autocrossing doesn't help inprove tire life either. Been out three times and my rear tires still look brand new...front tires are starting to look like they've been beat on a lot. I have 7200 miles on my car.

I had no idea the life of these tires are so short! im just over 12000 kilometers with my ss/sc. I am not looking forware to putting out money for new tires so soon! Especially considering with my last car ('02 bas saturn) i squeeked by my 4 year lease without having to get new tires! And that was with just over 84000 kilometers on it!

So i guess i should look into what to buy as a replacement. Does anyone have some suggestions on what tire to get once my stock tires are done? Brand, model and approx price would be a great help!

Is it also possible to rotate these tires between the front and the rear? My buddy was telling me that if they are directional tires i wouldn't be able to... ?!

same with me!!!! 7000 miles and my front tires look like slicks but my backs are pretty damn good. i havent switched them yet not bc of the lack of a tq wrench, but lazyness

i have a feeling its more of the hard driving with the turns then the straight line stuff bc i dont spin much when i get on it but i whip the **** outta my car on turns--much more fun

I'm at a little over 15000KM and I have rotated once. Tread is looking great to the point that the front tires (formerly rears) have not yet worn down to the level of the rears. I'll probably make it till winter without another rotation. Take it easy on tire spin and they last!

If you like the performance of the stock tires, go with the P-Zero Nero M&S. Better performance rating, twice the treadlife rating, and $60 cheaper at $125/tire.

As for me, I'm at 18k miles on mine and still going. Not totally bald yet, but getting DAMN close.

Closing in on 6k miles, and they still look new. They're holding up better than I thought they would, based on all the stuff I read when I bought the car.

i only have 5k km on my tires so far, but they look brand new. My dealer had a 5 year rim and tire warranty that i picked up, so my tires are covered for 5 years
