Stupid Fitment Question

If i have an 18x9 rim with a +15 offset and use a 15mm space this would bring me into the proper backspace?

what backspace are you trying to get? you'd be running a 9 inch wide rim @ a 0 offset with those 15mm spacers.

If this is going on a cobalt, you'd have a hard time fitting those

Those will not fit unless you like your wheels sticking out.

none of us in that aggressive fitment thread are even anywhere near 0 offset. There is 1 person that's running somewhere close to that but he's got alot of custom work done to achieve camber to tuck those wheels.

Thanks for the replies, what is the prefered offset then for some of the agressive fitments?

it's hard to say, since we don't know how aggressive you want to go... it also depends on the width of rim you want to run. with a wider rim, a lesser offset (closer to 0) will stick out more. At that rate, IF you are or ever decide to run coilovers you will run into rubbing problems and fender clearance. Then you need to look into stretching a tire to tuck, that's if you want to be that low anyways. To achieve aggressive fitment like us, you need to be low and flush/poking wheel. There's really no how-to on this. We all did it by trial an error. We have a thread there with all our specs to give you a guideline...

Thanks man, I'm guessing it will take a while then, I love some of the rims you guys have gone with, just once I see them on all of your cars then it just becomes to me not so different anymore. I guess I will plunge head first into the same boat and just experiment then. thank for the input.
