They are actually the same tire that 2fastforyouraSS is running, the Falken Azenis RT 615's. The 13.1 run was on DR's and he ran a 13.6 I believe on the Falkens, still impressive times.

I agree 100%. I ran the same on bald stock tires. 13.6. I bet our cars would be dead even haha. Well, I have more mods now and a smaller pulley so I should be 13 flat 12.9. I'm going to check on these tires and see what kind of prices they run for. I'll post it then.

Those tires look badass. They look good and I can see the tread is meant for dry traction. Looks like wet traction could suffer but well worth it if it means hooking up. 235/40/18s would run about 600 bucks shipped. Thats not bad at all. 150 a tire

they are a really good tire, i almost bought some a month or so ago.
but be aware they are an autocross tire....so the traction will be smokin in the dry, but they will wear like a ************.

Yea, exactly. Very good point. Only a 200 tread wear rating. Thats not very good at all. I like the KDW IIs also. Best choice would be the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3s. There over 200 bucks a tire though. Will last, and hook awesome. All around the best tire ever made. Just so much cash though. I may have to try those Falkens...

the wet weather traction honestly isnt that bad at all they still handle good.. they're like I said a soft tire but ya cant really have the best of both worlds (long tread life and great dry traction) you have to have a soft tire to launch good, but yet soft tires wear quicker, its all in what you want out of it, if u want extended tread life this tire aint for you, but if u want something that hooks with ok tread life well than there ya go..

Any soft compound performance tire is going to wear fairly quickly. It's just a matter of finding a happy medium for what you really need. I am quite content with my KDW's as of now, but we will see as the miles rack up as well as the weather changes that come about.

I have the Toyo T1R's on my Cobalt and they are great in the rain, superior in the dry, and have a great tread rating. They are holding up nicely. I also have bought some Fuzion ZRi's for my truck and the Integra, and those tires hook pretty well and are awesome in the rain too.

There is a little road noise, but with exhaust and a decent stereo, you don't really hear it. lol...Sometimes you have to take the good with the bad. They grip well and look MEAN.
