Tire Pressure

Whats everyones opinion on tire pressure? What are you running for everyday driving on a LS with 17"s and hows its working out?

I would run between 32-34psi. I have 36psi in mine, but they are 19's. I'm paranoid about bending a wheel! lol

Owners manual says 32-34psi. I'm running 18" at that spec.

i'm running my stock 17's at 33 psi cold. i'm running my 16" winters at 34 cold.

It does? mine says 30......

I am running 32cold front and 35cold rear.

thanks. cause the guy that had these wheels and tires before was running them at 22. it seemed a little low to me. thanks

Well the larger the wheel, the higher the psi... My 16" say a max of 44 so i put in about 32 and my 18's say a max of 50 so i put in about 39.

The max on the tire has nothing to do with the amount you put in.....its just the max.


39 seems a tad too high a cold pressure for the street imo....youll see 45psi easy on a hot road, thatll ride like total crap on the street.

Well im gonna put more in air in than 35psi... Also my dad is a journeyman mechanic and im putting in just as much air as he is telling me to.

Yup an itll say 30psi cold.


I cant imagine driving around with 45psi in the tires on a Cobalt....

pretty sure mine says 32...but i do agree daily driving street tires more than 36 psi can't be good.
