Asked a few times haven't got any response so I figured id make a thread. Got a great deal on 4 Bridgestone re11s for $200 bucks with less than 2k miles. They are 235/40/17s and ill be putting them on my 17x9 +30s. Was wondering if I can expect rubbing. Not really going to lower it too crazy just to about 1 finger or less wheel gap. Most likely will roll my fenders later down the road.

 

i doubt it i have 225 40 r18 and i have space

 

You will have problems in the rear if you get very low, but the front will be fine. Just can't go too low in the rear.

I'm on 235/40/18 with pedders and don't rub anything. 235/40/17 shouldn't be an issue at all depending upon how low you go.

 

I have 235/40 on my stock wheels now but i wasnt sure how the width and offset would work with rubbing. Im most likely going on stance or ksport. But nowhere maxed out lol. My front mount and exhaust already drags going up my driveway on my Canuck springs

 

That's what Im on, and you can go low in the rear don't worry haha.

Just ordered my stance coils. Hopefully ill be joining this 235 on 17x9 party this spring.

 

There's a limit you can go, Find a body shop with a roller to do it. They will know when to stop.
