Venezia Crusade 225/40/18 tire Review
So, I needed new tires baaaaadly, and I was on a 245/35/18 Dunlop on stock rims that fit perfect. I did not have the money to go that route again, so my research began for the stock size.
I was wanting a good wet/dry traction with light weight and a good compound that was not super soft so it would last longer. I was down to Conti dw, and Sumitomo hrz2 @ about 120 per tire, until I came across these Venezia Crusades.
I have never heard of them and thought they were another Korean crap tire, but actually they are a newer American brand!!!
I looked up reviews on other forums, and the few people that tried them in the same sizes, raved how they handled in all weather conditions and how quiet they were, so I was sold.
I started finding places that had a set of 4 for $400!!!wow, until........
I Actually found them on Ebay for $288.96 shipped for a set of 4!!!!!
They weigh 22lbs a piece and they are an all season tire that look great.
I will be taking pictures and reviewing as they are actually installed. I am in the process of getting my wheels powder-coated American gloss black, as we speak.

Hahah, well seriously...
And they arn't an American brand, they are made in China, they are imported and sold by an American trading company.
Also their website looks like it was made by a 5 year old.
And from what I've read review wise, they are extremely loud with road noise after they wear a little.

Lol, the tires have great grip...in the dry, wet traction is crappy. They are light weight, mount great, and are very quiet...well worth te oney, but wet handing/traction is poor...

I had 4 of those on my belt for about 30k miles.. Not bad.. Eh cornering grip, eh rain grip and gross winter traction.. However, they were super cheap and got me through 30k miles so I can't really complain too much... I wouldn't go with them again.

I'm at a tire place in need of all 4 tires replaced. They offered these Venezias and I decided to Google them because I'd never heard of them before. They're $62/tire while the other ones I was looking at (Michelin & Dunlops) were between $120-$150/tire.
This thread popped up on Google, and after reading through it, OP convinced me to try them. Might as well, right? When you're on a budget, you can't be too picky. lol
Maybe I'll post about them from time to time and share my experience with them as time goes on.
