weird noise from new tires?
problem with Enkei EKM3 Rims
Ok I got some Enkei EKM3's and cooper tires put on today but when I drive i get this really bad vibration from then so I took it back and they told me it was just the tires so I ordered different ones. Is this really what it would be? Its hard to describe it but its really loud almost like a truck downshifting and I get alot of vibration through the floor. Its not a constant noise or feeling though, any help is appreciated!

look to see if any of the tires tread looks lumpy or uneven, this could signify a broken belt. Maybe even on a "new" tire, you never know.
check that inflation is consistent all around
The lugs could also be loose, or conversely, too tight and over torqued. If they were over tightened this could damage your rotors as well it needs to be checked in to. Might be worth it to bring it to a different shop for their opinion.

Ya no noise before these rims and tires were put on but the noise is ridiculous! its really loud but I only notice it when im doing less than 40....I jsut realized thart
it sounds like a wheel bearing.
it should sound/feel like a vibration when turning one direction and should increase frequency with speed. its constant when you turn tho.
like... you should be able to go. VIBRATION 2, 3, 4, VIBRATION, 2, 3, 4, and so on
LOL.
sorry, only way to describe it.

the shop might have fucked up the bearing when they struggled taking the wheel of. i actually had to get a crowbar once to get mine off. I was careful. now i figured out that if i kick it decently hard not enough to knock the car of the jack im good to go.
hmm, what could I do if they did **** it up? Im going back this week to get different tires put on and if the noise is still there then Im taking it to my regular mechanic to see what he says
