I'm thinking of getting some new rims for my car, and found some decent blackies at a pretty good price, and reasonable shipping, since they're in Canada too. I know they'll fit my 4x100 bold pattern, but im really in the dark as far as offset and the 7.5.

size= 17" x 7.5 offset = 40

Also, how much are decent tires gonna run me, cause I can get a package for about $1000, or i could wait til they get to town and get one of the local places to do the tires. I'm assuming they'll know the best tire size for the rim, or should i know what to ask for when i go in there? Thanks a bunch guys.

 

That offset will fit with no problems at all.

 

just another question that might be looked at, is there clearance for the calipers for those rims on the cobalt (assuming they are a 4x100 made for a different car)... does anyone know of clearance issues with calipers on any of the cobalts/G5's?

check the offset...i think we can go from 38-42 or something like that....it is in the sticky
