Wheel Spacers

i have a 2007 cobalt ss. i recently bought some 19in moda rims. saw that it was rubbing in the back towards the spring. i bought some spacers from my local shop. they seem cheap but needed something that would do for now. they are 5/16 thick(7.94mm). ive heard that they wont work for the stock studs on the cobalt? just need to know if they will work or if i need to look for different ones.
