i was looking at these rims for my 08 ls

but i don't know what size tire is the correct one so that it will not rub at all

225 40 18

 

k so i went to 2 tire places today and they told me 215/45/18

also im hearing some people use 240 and some use 245

whats the correct i need. i have a LS isn't dropped but i might drop it after i get the rims. but right now im worried about the correct and proper size tires to get so nothing will rubs or anything

 

i have a ls with sportline springs and 225/40/18 doesnt rub or anything theyre perfect

 

X2. 215/45/18's are a bit narrow for an 8" wide rim. 245's will likely rub.

 

yeah my friend has 17 inch rims and he has 225/45's

so i should get 225/40 or 225/45?
