Wheels and tires oooonnn the way!

Well the wheels I'm gonna hold as a surprise, they SHOULD be here tuesday or wednesday and tires I got for them are the Falken 512's in 245/40 18.

So does anyone know if these are halfways decent tires? From personal experences?
They were rated #1 by consumer reports a couple years back so I figure they should be half ways decent tires. Especialy for all 4 of them shipped to my house for $400 and change!

I'll post TONS of pics as soon as I get them on.

I had the 512s on my Cavy before and liked them. I actually just put falkens on the ss but got the 452s. I really like them. They grip really well and were pretty chea, 135/tire. Make sure you put up some pics of the new wheels then.

Awesome guys thanks! For the price, the tread wear warrenty, and the size, I couldn't beat the price for them.

I'm not cheap but having just dropped $1300.00 on the wheels I'm NOT into dropping another $800.00 on tires!

falken tires are great tires. i had 512 twelves on my maxima and i swear by them. bad rain, icy conditions and snow are no problems with these tires. my balt came with halfway decent pirellis otherwise i would've replaced the mwith the falkens, and when i get my rims early next year i will be wrapping them in falkens. good luck and you won't be dissappointed.
