will 225 rub anymore hten 215?

I have drag dr-34's which are an 8" wide rim. Right now I have goodyear eagle gt's that are 215/45r/18. They actually rub my fenders in the back since I'm lowered on h&r springs. If I get tires that are 225/45r/18 will they rub anymore then the 215 or will it not have an affect on this?

switch to a 40 series tire. And yes a 225 will rub worse.

yes, 40 series will be a smaller sidewall. 225-40-18 is stock on the ss/tc.

225/40 will be .53" shorter than a 215/45. So they may not rub
