the roads by me are fairly well I mean a couple bumps here and there but be sides that the main roads should be fine
how should they do on the dirt because there are some dirt roads by me that I may need to travel on sometime

Where the hell do you guys live that you have dirt roads?
I mean I'm from Canada, which you Americans seem to think is hick country (A girl from Boston once asked me if we lived in Igloos and drove dog sleds, yeah thats how I got all the way to Virgina Beach for spring break, in my dog sled) but there are no dirt or gravel roads here.

if have that set up kinda, not same name brands but same setup. if you drive on dirty road more than 3 times a month. your ganna have to get new struts before to long. i live in mid-town there isnt a 100 yr strip without a bump.

I would go with a 35 profile tire on 18's or a 45 profile tire on 17's with an LS. If you go bigger than that, you will loose a lot of your bottom end torque due to the larger diameter compared to stock. I think 17's with 45's are a good choice for LS's because both the wheels and tires should be cheaper and they should be lighter than 18's. If you aren't too worried about price or performance, then go for the 18's with 35 pro tires because they will look better.

It will work just fine. I have 235/40/18's and I'm lowered on Progress springs. You will have room to spare.

Here's the road I live down... I wash my car at home and I hate having to drive down it after I *just* wash my car the night before. End up with chipping in places too.

45 minutes south of Edmonton by a lake the locals call Crooked Lake.
