you could just burn of the lugs and super glue the rims to your hubs. But I cant recomend that! sorry they wont fit man. Just remember, rims are like women, if you cant squeeze you lug into one, there is always a nicer set around the corner!

not sure if less tire will make up for that. they look really good. I would buy them. Just need to know the offset but I wouldn't be surprised that they would fit since it is listed for an HHR. Remember we can run HHR steel rims for our snow tires. we buy the rims straight from GM. that is why I am pretty confident that these will fit the cobalt just fine.
now what rubber will you use and size?
SHould do a group local buy of 4 people and risk $250 each to see if they fit and what rubber to run. if not then sell them again! I dont think if is much of a risk. the TimeAtack Cobalt ran 17X9 rims and I know off people running 255/50r16 DR's which are over 26" in diameter and 10" wide.

Well they are not light. about a the same or a pound heavier than stock (25lbs vs. 24lbs)

I was quoted 289$
a rim local deals 4 wheels and the guy told me 245/40zr18 tires is what he recommends. the offset is +35 on these rims.What am going to try and do is see if he he can garranty me they wont rub if they do he takes them back.
