Will these fit? Need help....

A buddy of mine has 19 inch wheels with 235/45r19 tires and he wants to trade for my 17's. I have a cobalt LT coupe with sportlines. Will I rub with the 19's and that big of a tire?

Shouldn't. I've got a buddy with some 20" rims and sportlines.

They may not rub, but they are going to screw up your speedo for sure. The proper size is 225/35/19 I believe

I'm not trying to say your wrong but I just used a tire calculator and 235/35/19's are a closer match to stock. There is a -0.6% difference and with 225/35/19's there is a -1.6% difference.

Hmmm, im not sure, I know 225/35/19's dont rub on sportlines, but 45's might be pushing it

Thanks for the replies. I ended up trading him and the only one that rubs is the passenger side front. But it's only when I turn the wheels about halfway. I'm just gonna put some tires that have a lower profile when I some extra cash. Whats the best tire for a daily driver? That's not 300 each. Lol

And what size should I go with?
