Is that mounted and balanced? And did you order them from the website or at the dealer? If you did go to the dealer, what was the price before taxes?

That was from a dealer, place called Frisby Tire here in Ottawa. Can't tell you what it would be before taxes. I told them what I wanted and they phoned me back in 15 minutes with $1440. I said I would let them know. They called back 15 minutes later with $1400 all in. I said DEAL!
That price is with everything from wheel nuts to balancing to installation and taxes.

Steel wheels are a no go for the SS/TC. The Fast Wheels are aluminum.

I LOVE THOSE TIRES! For the first 3 winters I had my LS, I had those on steel wheels...I got lucky and got a set of brand new steel wheels and those tires in 195/60 15 for $290 shipped to my door from Discount Tire Direct. They had an awesome deal at the time ($100 off a set of wheels and $100 off a set of tires plus free shipping).

I sold them at the beginning of this year and now I regret it...I need to find another set before winter.

You will love them.

That's good to know. All the reviews I've read on them have been positive!
Now if I can just take it easy with my right foot

Mine lasted 3 years and could have gone a 4th for sure...I even drove last spring on them for a month when the roads were warmer and dryer and I no longer needed the winter tires, I was just waiting to have my stock tires replaced on my factory steel wheels.

I have a heavy foot (sure I don't have the power you do and mine is auto), but trust me, I wear tires out fast and the iPikes last a long time no matter what. I had over 30k miles on mine and only one tire had more wear than the rest (I think I let it get low and didn't notice it...especially come spring time).

I was thinking more of my right foot and traction in the slippery stuff.
Those tires can take studs. Wish studs were legal here.

Did you verify if those wheels will clear the Brembo calipers?
