i just checked with my inspection guy. he said i need one here too. but he would let it slide. but that doesn't mean everywhere else will.

 

you prob get pulled over, i know in NH i would. but XC i jsut read your other post saying you dont have it with brake light. damn i wanted one too haha

 

When you go for inspection put your stock lid back on!

I know here the cops would be all over my ass if i dont have a 3rd light BUT i've never heard of an inspection.

 

HUH? you don't have to get your car inspected. here it is yearly, and in NJ i think it is every 2 years.

Hey guys, I ran into the same problem on my old Cavi when I put the CF lid on. I finally found something that wasn't that huge and crappy looking after about the 20th time being pulled over for it. Is there any interest in this? If you think the third brake light might be an issue please contact your local police dept to get more info. We will not be modifying our mould to accommodate it. It is not an issue here in our local area.

 

shortbus got a ticket for no third break light so he mounted a little 3rd brake light up on the rear deck.... I would just swap the trunk lids if i had to get my car inspected.
