Exclamation My down pipe is 6 inches too short?!

I took part of the black friday special and ordered a down pipe. It is 6 inches too short? Whaaat????

It took me about 2 hours to get my stock pipe off because the hardware was seized pretty bad, then I find out that my ZZP catted downpipe is about 6 inches too short? Ugh, I don't want to have to put my stock pipe back on and then off again. Any input?

thats an alternative version of the Jastrow Illusion bro. you set any two bent objects of the same size together like this, lined up at one end, the bottom will appear smaller than the other.

Redirect Notice

But check this out. set it on top of your old down pipe and watch what happens to your DP that's "6 inches too short." it'll "grow" 6 inches. lol they are the same size brother. you're good. slap that girl in there and drive her like you stole it!

Looks like optical illusion to me. Set the new one on top of the stock one.

Like this. Looks like the right mag is the shortest but they are actually the same size.

Everyone is probably right but I'm pretty sure the auto and manual downpipes are different sizes

Auto n manual pipes r infact diff, but he'd have to order a auto hhr pipe to get an auto one.

But I remember correctly auto down pipes are longer then manual pipes

I bolted it up to the turbo, it is actually about 1.5 inches short. It fits, but the exhaust tip is behind the rear bumper now. Oh well.

Add some 2.5" piping to where the exhaust tip is then weld the tip back on

It runs good but my exhaust tip is hidden now. People on my HHR site believe they sent me the downpipe for an AUTOMATIC
