ZZP 3in Downpipe problem!

So I dropped my car off to get the downpipes installed, and when my dad went to pick it up the problems started to begin, the guy who installed it said it doesn't fit right but its on the car, he says its sits right up against the firewall and vibrates like crazy and any motion would snap it, he claimed the gaskets that I bought from zzp for extra money were useless and they would burn off so he just used the old ones and it somehow could damage the header also....

Could I get some installed pics of it on the LSJ? I honestly don't believe that something as simple as a downpipe install could give them trouble, they also said for a hundred dollars they could fix to make it fit

I though having it professionally installed would save me from dealing with the little bullshit things when you install it yourself

I think whoever installed it probably didn't know what they were doing fully. Only problems with installing a dp is making sure there is no air leaks at either end (easy enough). Doubt zzp sent you the wrong dp. I don't remember mine arching like that, it almost looks like he put it in wrong (god only knows.)

it's hard to mess that up, but those pics suck.. take one from the engine bay looking down.

I wouldn't call it a rattle exactly, more like a loud humming enough to be able to kind of like...feel it in your feet, its catted by the way if that matters, I don't think I could get a good pic of the O2 sensor unless it i could find it with a crafty engine bay pic, I only have a jack and its in the garage now, its curving to the right a good thing?

That one is for sure cut/welded wrong. Looks completely different than this one in the cat area.

what problems are you having? vibrations? and it's not going to break hence the flexpipe.

For all you said it might be installed backwards are clowns. Really think about it real hard if it was installed backwards
