its not necessary unless you plan to go big turbo. The stock IC is fully fuctional for all the stoock turbo and throw at it. but if u upgrade that turbo you would need one

nope no downside/ you wont be able to push as much psi because your volume will change.

I guess the only down side if u didnt jump on this would be paying more money

I dont mean to thread jack

But

You ahve to understand that less PSI doesnt mean less power. Your flow rate will stay the same for the most part, which means you will have damn near close to the same power.

From what I understand, it's a barely noticable difference from stock to ZZP. Although it is a bigger intercooler, ZZP took a lot of time and R&D to make sure this intercooler would perform and last. Not only can it handle bigger turbo, higher horsepower applications but it can be bolted to a stock car with minimal drawbacks of loss of CFM. They have specs posted somewhere, I can't remember where.

I'm buying because I don't trust the stocker while I'm tuned to 24 psi (Plastiv end tanks burst), I love the way ZZP looks and fits, and I plan on their EFR Turbo upgrade once it's out. Planning ahead FTW

So let's get this group buy STARTED!

It's $300 shipped as long as 10 people buy!
$325 for Canada!

LETS GO!

Until we reach 10 or more buyers. I have a feeling 10 is all we'll get anyway.

Hmm... If the list fills up quick, it might be over sooner than that. It all depends on how long ZZP wants to continue to sell them for and what the cap is on people vs. time.

The ZZP Intercooler was designed to work with stock or aftermarket charge piping.

I'm thinking it's going to be the same rate as the Canadian shipping ($325), but I could be wrong. I'm getting in touch with ZZP to get all this squared away.
