If you still have a warranty I'd take it to the dealer to have it fixed. I didn't know the camshaft had sensors.

I had the problem too, it made my traction control light kick on all the time and my car would start shifting really hard. I had to replace the sensor and a solenoid.

Cam position sensors are located on top of the valve cover right next to the spark plug coils. You can see them in this pic: to the left of the spark plugs.

so they are cam sensors, just not THE cam sensors.

These are not the cam sensors you are looking for. *Jedi wave*

I have the same issue and my check engine light comes and goes. The guy at auto zone said it was no big deal, but earlier my car wouldn't start. Is that related to the camshaft sensor? Also, someone mentioned having to get a solenoid replaced, any idea of the cost if that's the problem?

My car is doing the same thing! Check engine lite is on and TC light is on. Took it to autozone and they said it was the crank sensor. Changed that and it is still jumping and the lights are still on. What do I do now?
