How does your brakes feel when being applied?

Mine grab right away but then seem to have a squishy spot.

Anyone else?

 

mine feel like they have grooves in them at 900 miles...

 

mine have grooves in them also so when i take it in for my first oil change i'm gonna have that checked out

 

My pedal is really soft, then it grabs. As the weather gets colder, the return force of the pedal becomes very weak. I can't feel it on my foot, even in shoes. Sometimes the car will brake without my foot on the pedal, under 5mph though. The dealer said everything was working correctly, but to this day I still smell burnt pads after a drive.
