Sound question for videos..
Hey guys..
I'm gonna be making a few videos over the summer. I looked at my camcorder and noticed I didn't have a direct-in mic slot. I do have an a/v slot. I know I can use this to plug a cable into and put into my TV, but I doubt I could put a mic into there, correct? That's the only thing I could even think of. For my interviews, I want a mic to not only look professional, but the sound quality will be much higher. So what's the alternative to doing this? I have a laptop and a main cpu. But if I take the laptop and plug the cam inot a usb, and a mic into a usb, would that then work properly? I'm new to this. Any help would be amazing! But please, don't give me some 500 dollar option. I'm a college kid. lol.
Thanks!

Yeah, record the interview with the mic plugged into the computer, at the same time film them. Then just add in the sound during editing. Since you filmed and recorded sound at the same time, it should match up when you add the sound
