Very odd clutch problem , need some useful input

The clutch is a first gen Spec2+(Ive heard theyve since revised the tolerences and springs in the pressure plate? ) , it has about 40K miles on it , it has 0 holding problems ...not one ounce of slippage .

Problem ....I cant go over 1/2 throttle without the clutch pedal turning into a solid rock . If I go WOT in 1st , you can actually feel the clutch pedal being pushed up . The Ive got almost both feet to push it in again and it will stick to the floor unless u pump the absolute **** out of it to get the travel in the pedal back. Then for a few miles of driving after all that the pedal feels very springy and firm, the engagement is pretty violent , u move the pedel a millimeter its fully engaged .

Drive the damn thing around normally , and it acts totally normal . Any ideas what kinda problem Im facing here . Throwout/slave is new , I dont its a clutch master cylinder problem , from what I can see theres nothing in factory clutch arrangement that would cause this kind of problem <am I wrong on that ?

I cant get any help from Spec , because all they will say is its in my factory clutch hydralics . What would have to wrong with the pressure plate to cause a problem like this ? Ive has this problem for about 15K miles , Ive just been plagued with other problems not related to the SS and have not had the time to actuall pull the clutch and look at it .

Im pretty much clueless with this problem .

They only share the same fluid resevoir , the clutch master is separate .

I would still go with the pressure plate considering it's only rock hard at higher rpm's right?

As the RPM's rise , yes ...I can feel the pedal being pushed up . It get pushed up past the normal position it sits on when u dont have foot on the clutch . I can basically rev the car at a stop in neutral and it makes the clutch pedal turn to stone .
