i got a 05 ion redline and i will have roughly 3 grand to spend to make it turbo i was wondering where i can get a turbo exhaust manifold and a sheet metal intake manfold and the other different little things that i need to know

 

hahn racecraft for the intake manifold, and vulcan turbo for the manifold. you could also go to a saab dealer and get one of the 2.0l intake manifolds they use on the 2.0l turbo model 9-3. it will save quite a bit of your budget.

 

what kind of turbo would be good for a stock internal motor

 

t3/t4 50 trim or if you wanna risk it 60 trim. you should talk with 06black he is the real expert on proper turbo sizing, he helped me.

sure but you got less than 6 weeks, i can also refer you to someone who can help you out as well. i have never seen one of these builds go that fast though. waiting for parts takes forever.

look on the FS section for parts forsale because they need money. A guy down here got all his parts from ebay and I am pretty sure he spent less than $2000 on parts. I am think he said less then $1200 but I could be wrong.

This is the guy. I think it is actually 350 fwhp on stock internals 60-1 turbo(I dont know turbos so I cant answer any questions). He is building it now snd shouild be done today.
