do i have the wrong tranny mounts please help!!!

i read everyone saying how easy these front and rear transmission mounts are to put on so i attempted to install mine yesterday with no luck my question is are there any differences between the 05-06 years and the 07 as far as mounting sizes and dimentions cause the i have prothane mounts and the box says 05-06 i ordered 07
's but this is what was sent to me i just figured they were the same untill i had my mechanic try to press them in with no luck. now i have my car sitting in the garage with the engine on jackstands and it's supposed to go to the dealer tomorrow to have my stage two kit put in and i don't want to have to cancel the appointment does any one know if these are a bad brand, or did i get the wrong size? some people said they were able to push them in by hand. i have one day to get this done i have one new mount still cause im going to have to destroy this one to get it out, but my oem bushing is a little beat up from removing it so i would like to try and stay away from putting that one back in i have tried a press, a vice, lube, heating the bracket and freezing the bushing all with no result i got it about half way in with a vice and its so stuck in there the press wont even take it out they're afraid of braking the housing so i have to drill it and cut it out and figure out what im going to do any suggestions would help thanks everyone.

they're hard to get in. i trimmed the lip down on mine, and they were still hard to bang in with a hammer. i seriously doubt anyone can push them in by hand. not sure about any size differences though.

i haven't messed with tranny mounts yet, so i'm not too sure. but from what i've heard, they are very hard to get in. my best advice is stay patient, maybe stop by a local chevy dealer or something. i'll let you know if i find anything out on it. bump.

thanks guys for the quik reply

i did trim the lip on the one down, i'll call prothane just to be sure i do have the right ones my cousins own a repair shop and they tried to get it in with a ten ton press and it didn't move my dad and i got it in as far as it is with a vice and a torch i guess it's possible that i heated the housing too much and actually melted the prothane to the housing thats just a theory right now i won't know for sure untill i get it out

just got off the phone w/ prothane and gravana tuning both companies we're very helpful i ruined one trying to install it and prothane is going to replace it for free they screwed up and sent me the mounts for the 2.2/2.4 which are different from the 2.0 if anyone cares i was very impressed with both companies customer support, if you want to avoid this problem i found out if anyone orders prothane tranny mounts makes sure the box says cobalt ss on it cause if it just says cobalt it's for the 2.2/2.4 thanks to everyone for responding fast with the suggestions.

Good catch, ALL 2005-07 2.0L use the same bushings (manual) P/n 7-516

Also all 2005-08 2.2/2.4L manuals use the same bushings P/N 7-517
