Exclamation Wastegate Actuater???

ok i took my car to the dealership the other day cause my car is boosting way to high like i drive normal and it is fine no biggie but if i get on the throttle hard the boost will shoot up to 18/19/20lbs and the car is not going faster feels like its being held back.... now the dealership told me a few things one i have a MAF code and i have a clogged cat which i fig that one cause my car sounds alot quieter but i dunno if those will cause anything like that then they told me that it might be a wastegate actuater (don't know how to spell). any one help plse dont wanna buy a part if its not the problem know what i mean..

No a few others have had that happen... Lack of power, and high boost is the 2 things that state it should be a clogged cat.

its the cat..... it will be warrenty, or you can just get aftermarket highflow..... I have clogged 3 so far, so i just made myself a 2.5 inch catless stainless downpipe.... problem solved

just have them warranty it.... if it stays clogged for long, it will end up blowing the flex pipe at the top of the downpipe.... then your car will sound like *******.... lol, when you get the new one, just save it, and put on a catless.....

you live somewhere cold?
