Diagnostic port not working, unable to reflash car
Well here we go again, this is getting really old, heres the latest thing to break. I'm about 2 seconds from trading this unreliable piece of **** in on something else.
Went to reflash the car this morning and kept getting an error that the port had no power sure enough the little green light on HPT was not coming on. Tried it out on another car and it works fine, initially I thought my HPT box was bad but it turns out thats not the case.
So is there a fuse someplace for this? I checked every single one on the passenger side in the fuse box and not a single one is bad. Anyone else had this happen?

It's the CTG fuse in the black fuse box under the hood. Easy fix. It's on the left side of the box if you are standing in front of the car and I believe it's a blue 15amp fuse if I remember correctly. Happened to me once before, and once I replaced it all was well from there on out many tunes and datalogs later. Patience my friend.
Meh, there are a lot of fuses in this car. There is a panel on the passenger side inside the center console a lot of people don't even know about for that matter. A person using a laptop to tune a car doesn't need the same ability to find an electrical issue and trace it out. That is more of a computer data and comprehension thing rather than a hands on manual thing like the burnt out fuse is. When it happened to me I freaked out too the first time until I figured it out.

I already checked the fuse panel on the passenger side immediately after this happened. Nobody on here knows where everything is, I use my resources which is the good folks on this forum.
I also dont tune anyone else's car so im not sure what your point is there

I feel you on that one after having to pay for two tranny's, a set of shift linkage, headgasket, and the list goes on. Plus, having to do all my own labor. I thought it was never going to end there for awhile.
