Vendors & SS/TC Parts?

I was curious if any of the vendors have any plans to attack the lnf powered cobalt and make some parts? I know the car hasn't even rolled off the assembly line yet so nothing is in stone but since this is the future of performance for the cobalt model, i'm wondering if any vendor is drawing up blueprints for new products?

See thing is chevy isnt as smart as dodge was when the srt 4 came out... Dodge had parts out for the car before the car was even out this was due to dodge talkin to aftermarket companys and letting them no bout the capabilities of the car

Yes. Some have made parts for the solstice GxP and the sky redline.

from what i see on this site there is a lot of interest in the ss/tc and modding them. most of the people i know are into imports, and euro cars but they seem really curious about what can be done with the 260hp/260tq turbo cobalt, and if people who never payed any attention to a chevy are asking me questions then i'm assuming at least a few of you are having the same experiences. i have high expectations for this car and i know i'm not alone. so vendors if your out there give us a little sneak peak at what you have for cobalt ss/tc.

We would like to maybe do so , just need a car ... Got too much money tied up in some of the other newer vehicles that came out to purchase another car right now , so we would be looking for someone to bring one in to us as soon as they become available for dynotesting , tuning , and some parts testing , etc.

not that they would know more aout the car than we do but if they have any plans to manufacture parts for the upcoming model. i'm curious if mrz is gonna make strut bars, k&n to make intakes, cobalt addiction to make exhausts, hahn making bigger turbo, and so on. are the major contributing vendors to the lsj show the same interest in the lnf?

We'll be making the strut bar for sure if the one we have does not fit on the SS/TC

We'll also have "Turbocharged" set of door sill available for the SS/TC owners

We'll see witch other parts can be made when we'll get a hand on one of those beast

so if my guess is write, shouldn't the exhaust fit this same cobalt with the exception of maybe tuning the muffler to better suit a turbo, than a supercharger, i think the guys getting to worried to soon. i think you guys have it under control. i don't own a cobalt, but i follow these cars every since they came out and knew they had pontential. i knew gm was going to bring out the tc, but alot sooner, seems as though they waited for dodge to discontinue the srt-4 first. this SS T/C is going to rip havoc on alot of people's ego's just like the srt-4 did. good luck to guys who has purchased one, and the future owners of SS T/C. i will be looking out for these beast.

We almost have a car on order, and will be all over this one!

Prepare for the same excellence you've come to expect from the leader in Ecotec Turbo Performance!

GMPP intake and both exhuast's (touring and performance) are out for it.
Not feeling the price on that intake though.

the only thing want from gm is stage kits. i wouldnt spend the big bucks on their intake and exhaust this time around. for exhaust i want a SLP loudmouth 2 cat-back and we'll see who produces an intake. i liked the k&n i had on my 2.4L so i would like to stick with them if possible.

One of the guys that has done more research than anyone with the Solstice which has a similar set up is going to be working here now so we will have an advantage on everything with this car , still looking for someone to bring one by the shop .
