Colorado or Cobalt ss/sc?

hey all, I'm going to be purchasing a vehicle very soon and would like your opinion to help me make my decision. I am defniitely without a question going to be buying a chevrolet seeing as my dad is an owner and i am a part-time employee at the dealerhsip. Price isn't really an option for now, and like previously mentioned, the two vehicles i am deeply considering are a 2006 Colorado regular cab, 2 wheel drive, inline 5 and the 5 speed, and a 2006 cobalt ss/sc.

here are the factors that must be kept in mind: i live pretty far north (7 hours north of Toronto in Canada), I love speed , will usually have at least 1 other person in the vehicle, and will spend 25% of driving on the highway.

Thanks in advance for the input

I have a 2005 Colorado Crew cab Z-71 2WD and a 2006 Cobalt SS/SC and love both of them for Different Reasons , But i do get most enjoyment from my Cobalt . So i would buy the cobalt . The Cobalt handle a lot better in bad weather being front wheel drive , the colorado slips and slides in icy weather .. just my .02 ..

well if you are looking for a colorado I hear the the owner of SSBC is selling his 2005 colorado, this is what i hear though and I don't know if it's actually true, just rumors that I hear from working there. It can be seen at www.ssbrakes.com I've heard that it can be had for around 20k, but this is just speculation and I would call to find out if it's actully true or not. It's a really nice truck and doesn't have alot of miles on it and is already modified which will save you $.

thanks for the info! keep it coming guys haha, and if anyone was questioning power about the colorado, i was browsing the coloradofans.com website and found out that a guy's friend turned in a mid 14 quarter mile pass on a stock inline 5, 5 speed regular cab with 4.10 gears instead of the stock 3.42. again thanks for the input and keep it coming

It depends on what your needs are. If you have no real need for a truck I would go with the Cobalt.
