a lil insight on this issue please.

Alright so i bought this cobalt ss/sc two months ago. it has ran fine up untill about 4 weeks ago. i was jus driving and the information display came up power steering and my speedo dropped to zero... then it came back. i thought o well its all good. well it happens quite often at this point like everyday. i have had it into a gm dealership and they couldnt come up with the problem or a solution... and then they called GM on it and they were not able to help....

Any insight or knowledge of this problem and where i can find out a solution to the problem... cuz everyone GM based i have spoke to has not heard of this problem. i have done nothing to the car, it came from the dealership with stage 2, GMPP exhaust, the K&N typhoon intake...

Any help is greatly appreciated...

Have them check the ground, would be possible if its not making a good connection. Its behind one of the headlights, don't remember if its left or right.

I had a similar problem. Did you add anything electrical to it? The previous owner of my LS didn't buy power windows/doors from the dealer and got aftermarket ones. It ended up sucking too much power on startup. A buddy of mine down at the Chevy dealer popped in a relay kit and I was fine.
