Dealer got my car yesterday...
They replaced my 06 Cobalt ss/sc with a new one. Im very happy that they got me a new one. Black with the G85 package.. The only thing is the new one has pin stripes which i will have them removed.. Otherwise the car looks great.
One question... The first car i had it did not sound like the new one they gave me.. The new one has a really throaty exhaust note... The old car had 150 miles on it and the new one has 28 miles on it. Don't get me wrong i love it but is it going to change with more miles.. I hope not..

The car is awesome... the smooth power delivery is awesome.. i love the handling.. GREAT CAR

I bought a 06 cobalt wednesday last week. I have driven it 2 times for a total of 40 miles and the CEL came on twice.. The first time they cleared it and told me some junk about the security feature blah blah.. How does that affect the emissions of the vehicle which is what triggers the CEL.. Damn Scammers.. So the second time the light came on I took it back Monday and told them i am going to run this car through the building. We battled back and forth for 2 hours and now they are looking for a new car for me.

As a salesman, I've driven a lot of SS/SC with low miles and I HAVE noticed they seem to be louder (and definitely more harsh) then mine, which has close to 700 right now.

 

That is crazy that they are going to replace your car.... Cool nonetheless

 

i thought they would of put up a serious fight and i would have to get laywers involved.. Good thing it didn't have to come down to that.. Maybe they realized that i have bought 3 1996 cavaliers, a 1998 Z28, a 2002 Z06 and the Blk Cobalt SS/SC and in 2007 i want the 505hp Z06.. It would of been a bad business move for them i think. Nonetheless I have my car and im happy..
All that behind me and now its driving and modding time... I try to get some pictures as soon as i have time...
