First things first... Hello to everyone here...

I bought a 06 cobalt wednesday last week. I have driven it 2 times for a total of 40 miles and the CEL came on twice.. The first time they cleared it and told me some junk about the security feature blah blah.. How does that affect the emissions of the vehicle which is what triggers the CEL.. Damn Scammers.. So the second time the light came on I took it back Monday and told them i am going to run this car through the building. We battled back and forth for 2 hours and now they are looking for a new car for me. I should have it tomorrow .. By the way the car is great, its quick, the handling surprised me very much and it is amazingly quiet and comfortable.. Im very happy and thouroughly impressed, i just want it in my hands..

 

are u positive this is gonna happen...usually once u sign those papers thats that. ...not many dealerships will just give you a new car...especially if its a Check engine light that could be something as small as a loose gas cap. I would def. stay on their asses, i worked for a dealership and there were people who had bought cars and didnt even get the thing home and it wound up coming right back with MAJJJJJOR problems, One guys SSR had to have the engine rebuilt...and they never even entertained the thought of giving him a new car. he was told that it would stay at the dealer until it was fixed meanwhile they put him in a shitty aveo until it got fixed...so dont believe everything u r told, most dealerships are full of ******** that will tell you anyrhing to get u out of their hair.

we shall see.. The sales man is a guy that i know.. O trust me when i tell you i will not take any crap from these people. they were willing to give me a Silver SS/SC off the lot but i didn't want it because it did not have the G85 package. That was surprising to me that they would do that. So i want to believe they will come through. I spoke to the regional manager and revealed to him how everyone was trying to pull a scam.. The manager, the finance manager and the service manager were all being dishonest with me about the car. Something is wrong with the car and no one wants to say it...typical dealer fashion.. "O well i wouldn't know" "O i've been here for a week" what ever... I should have it by tomorrow.. Thanks for the concern i appreciate it because it fuels my fire..
